Galleri NB presents Vilmantas Marcinkevicius - Straight Out, an exhibition that grants full creative freedom to one of the gallery’s most distinctive artists.
Without a predetermined theme, the exhibition brings us closer to the artist’s latest works—intense, sensitive, and created without filters or predefined concepts. It is an exhibition that surprises and invites conversations about the subjects that currently occupy Vilmantas’ mind.

The exhibition showcases Vilmantas’ latest paintings, primarily in small to medium formats, along with sketches on cardboard serving as preliminary studies for several of the paintings.
Since the beginning of his artistic career in 1990, Vilmantas has delved into humanity’s deepest yet most universal thoughts and emotions, creating works that revolve around existential themes such as love, faith, connection, friendship, and individuality. His art is universal, yet unmistakably his own. With a constantly evolving color palette and sense of form, he has developed a unique and personal artistic language, making his works instantly recognizable on the international art scene.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, March 8, from 14:00 to 16:00, featuring an opening speech by art collector Dennis Nande. Dennis Nande played a pivotal role in our discovery of Vilmantas back in 1997, which led to the strong and productive collaboration between the artist and Galleri NB the following year—an incredible partnership that has continued ever since.
Straight Out is an opportunity to experience Vilmantas in his purest form—straight from the studio and directly into the senses.
