Our contemporary times are characterized by tumultuous events such as wars and climate change. Both parts have in these years and will probably have for many years to come a great influence on our lives and everyday life.
As a counterweight to that, I find solace in the close in everyday life, in everyday life. In the routines and the realization that everything doesn't have to be as it is - but that it's also perfectly fine if it is. I try to find the poetic in everyday life. In the unmade bed. In the chair in front of the window. In the light that shines through the curtains. I am preoccupied with the imperfect and the unfinished and the sensitivity and fragility that lies therein. And I try in my works to invite you to explore questions that cannot necessarily be answered with a yes or no.
