Galleri NB opens in a 30 m² space at Sct. Mikkels Gade 23 in Viborg.
Founded in 1987 by Thorkild NB Nielsen, Galleri NB works with private collectors, businesses, institutions and organisations.
Today, the gallery occupies more than 600 m² at Sct. Mathias Gade 14 in Viborg, encompassing exhibition spaces, a framing workshop and administrative offices.
The gallery represents distinguished Danish and international artists. Its activities include exhibitions, art commissions, advisory services and engaging audiences with art, both in Denmark and internationally.
Galleri NB works with artists from Denmark and abroad, including Norway, Lithuania, Germany and the Netherlands. These collaborations underpin an active international network, exhibitions abroad and participation in international art fairs.
The gallery regularly presents exhibitions by its represented artists, while the NBeX exhibition space showcases work by other artists, often with a focus on new collaborations and emerging artistic practices.
Galleri NB is run by an experienced team with expertise in curating, art advisory, sales and production. Our work is grounded in close dialogue with artists and clients, and a commitment to presenting art with quality, care and a personal approach—whether for a home, a workplace or a commissioned project. The gallery is a member of Danske Gallerier, the Danish gallery association.
Our mission is to share the joy of meaningful art with as many people as possible.
